They hire personnel who sell the warranties, and they are often responsible for giving misleading information. Extended warranties are often forced on a car buyer and they are often very expensive and unnecessary. They often exclude a number of car parts that are essential to the proper maintenance of a car, and often times a customer pays for service and is never reimbursed for repairs. Customers must exercise extreme caution whenever they are in doubt.
Car dealers sometimes persuade customers to purchase warranties only to meet their own financial targets. They cheat customers by selling them expensive policies that are not worth the coverage. It is advisable for buyers to get into a contract with car warranty companies rather than dealers.
